“Gunther is one of few top-level professionals who understand how interdisciplinary research works and have the ‘know-how’ necessary to facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations and make them meaningful. He has created integrated academic frameworks and provided comprehensive training and coaching programs that enabled productive interdisciplinary knowledge co-creation across the institute.”
- Prof Lina Markaukaite, School of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney
“The impact of Gunther’s training and coaching is clearly apparent in the number and quality of commercial interactions and research contracts that the participants in his programs, such as me, have successfully obtained and navigated. Importantly, the programs Gunther provided enabled us to gain confidence in our interactions with external stakeholders.”
- Prof Deanna D’Alessandro, Director Net Zero Initiative, Faculty of Engineering, University of Sydney
“Gunther combines strategic thinking with operational experience, data informs all aspects of his work, from institutional dashboards that enable evidence-based decision making, to surveying participants in academic development programs. Gunther understands the many impacts of interdisciplinarity and the value it can bring when integrated with academic frameworks that promote collaboration between natural and social scientists.”
